The Typewriter Project (2018, 2019, on-going)

The Typewriter Project utilizes place, time, typewriters, materials and guidance to encourage inter-generational conversation and positive interaction, and the sharing of wisdom to reveal new perspectives, rediscover old skills, and consider the idea that one-to-one communication without a glowing screen is not only possible, it is valuable and essential.

This project provides an opportunity outside of ageist silos, such as schools and senior centers, for multi-generations of participants learn from each other and begin to plant seeds of appreciation and nurture mutual support that is essential to human survival.
